This book is a repository of memories about the years spent as an Assistant Scoutmaster and a Scoutmaster.
What's the difference?
It happens when you sign up for the Assistant, and the committee asks for a volunteer to take lead.
Perhaps it's like the Presidency; the ones fit for the job won't ask for it.
