It was a hot, steamy day that started with the driver getting lost. But we got there, about 30 minutes after the Lutheran Brotherhood crew had arrived. Cody W., Derek R. and Andrew C. were the only Scouts. They opted to start at the opposite end of the overgrown walkway of slate slabs. As the day progressed, and rain began, they kept working; "It's washing off the sweat, it's cooler, and it softens the sod." was their reason for staying. As a result, they were damp and muddy, but cleaned over 60% of the walkway. Been there, done that, and they earned the shirt.
