It was a dark and stormy night... NOT! It was a bright, sunny, brisk day when we headed down the ... Potomac River? From Harper's Ferry? Send me your recollections and I'll add them. I seem to recall some helmsmen were more adept at finding the "channels" (water depth greater than 3 inches). Our guide (the one with Ben, Gary, Cody, me, etc.) had us dragging the raft over many, many, many rocky paths. But it was great fun, particularly when we got to see how long we could hold the raft in the hydraulic!
